Ithaca Shakespeare Company

Presenting affordable outdoor Shakespeare productions every July on the beautiful inlet of Cayuga Lake at the Allan H. Treman State Marine Park, and intimate indoor productions in the fall/winter.

The Ithaca Shakespeare Company is dedicated to presenting the works of William Shakespeare and his contemporaries with clarity and immediacy to a diverse audience, emphasizing dynamic ensemble acting, staging that forges a historical bond with Shakespeare's own theatres, and performances that immerse the audience in the action and emotion of the play. Our approach to Shakespeare is active and exciting, involving close attention to the details of language and character and a strong component of physical action.
