Hangar Theatre The Hangar Theatre opened in 1975, in a renovated municipal airport hangar. The theatre is committed to providing exceptional experiences of high professional quality to enrich, enlighten, educate, and entertain the diverse audience in the Finger Lakes region and beyond. Strong education and training programs are central parts of our commitment to the local and national artistic communities. The Hangar Theatre is a not-for-profit and currently serves more than 60,000 adults and children annually.

 State Theatre The State Theatre of Ithaca is a historic, 1600-seat theatre located right in the hear of Downtown Ithaca that hosts various events from bands, to plays, to comedy acts, to silent films, and more. As Ithaca's premiere music and arts venue, The State Theatre's mission is to present top-quality entertainment in a variety of formats to enhance the lives of visitors and residents of the Ithaca community and the surrounding Finger Lakes region. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Cornell Schwartz Center The Cornell University Department of Performing and Media Arts is housed within the elegant Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts. A regionally recognized cultural facility, the Schwartz Center attracts 20,000 patrons a year to its varied activities. Its marble walls encompass all the elements needed for teaching and performance in theatre, film and dance: four performance spaces, dance and theatre rehearsal studios, scenery, costume and prop shops, sound and lighting design studios, and film editing and production suites. The Schwartz Center serves as a catalyst for the creative and intellectual endeavors of the many talented students, faculty and staff at Cornell.

Kitchen Theatre  The Kitchen Theatre Company burst on the scene in 1991. It was the dream of a group of talented and determined theater artists to create a place where they could work together and hone their craft. Led by Matt Tauber and Tim O'Brien, the Kitchen Theatre Company made an auspicious debut with its ambitious production of Sam Shepard's Buried Child. The season choices were bold and brash. The productions were infused with the high energy and drive of hungry young artists setting out to change the world.

Ithaca College Theatre Visit the Ithaca College Theatre to see the nation's premiere up-and-coming theatrical talent in an intimate and engaging setting. Enjoy opera, musical theatre, dramas, classics and comedy -all performed in the professional model by talented students from across the country. Check out the season annually from October through April.

Shakespeare Co The Ithaca Shakespeare Company produces outdoor Shakespeare on the beautiful wooded grounds of the Cornell Plantations each summer and now with a winter season in their new indoor facility in Fall Creek Studios. Their productions draw thousands of people each year from throughout the region, across the state, and beyond!
