I have always really enjoyed driving around the beautiful Ithaca area in the fall, and the Art Trail is a great excuse for driving. We map out our journey ahead of time, trying to see a sampling of ceramics, paintings, photography. The artists are happy to have us in their work space and talk about their work. The photograph included here is a young artist named Ryan Curtis. He paints amazing levitating beings, trees and birds using very unlikely materials. He paints faces using an airbrush, gears and feathers. Other favorite art trail experiences are John Lyon Paul's sculptures and Sheela Kingsbury's Tea Garden.
