1. Handwork's 40th Birthday at Ithaca Festival!

Friday, June 3rd - Celebrate Handwork Cooperative's 40th birthday this Friday, Gallery Night, coiniciding with the Ithaca Festival. Handwork members Renata Wadsworth and Chet Salustri will be demonstrating how they make their one-of-a kind-ceramics, using hand building and pottery wheel techniques. 2. Woofstock

Saturday, June 4 - Dress up the dogs and bring them, the family & friends to Americana’s annual Local Rescue and Shelters Benefit – this year for Browncoat Cat Rescue, Pet the Pet, the Beverly Animal Shelter & Fetch a Friend Rescue! A day of games, raffles, live music all day starting at noon graciously donated by El Caminos, Radio London & The Purple Valley; food & wine, pet & people vendors, and new this year, the Woodstock themed Doggie Divas Fashion Show at 4:30 make this a fun day for everyone! 3. Taste the Nation

Tuesday, June 14 - Ithaca's Taste of the Nation® for No Kid Hungry invites you to enjoy the area’s finest food & beverages from over 75 local restaurants, wineries and microbreweries.100% of the money raised is used to give grants to organizations involved in mitigating childhood hunger (60% stays local.) 4. Science Cabaret

Tuesday, June 7 - Filmakers Jesse and Jeremy Veverka will give you a sneak peak of their soon to be released documentary,Passfire, about fireworks, the people who make them and the cultures behind them across the globe. Learn more.
