Ithaca College Natural Lands

ICNL is collegiate-owned conservation land that is open to the public, consisting of four separate reserves and totaling over 500 acres. Over 5 miles of marked trails offer ample hiking opportunities for visitors, and the ecosystems within ICNL are used as an outdoor classroom for Ithaca College students and the general public. South Hill Natural Area East features a self-guided nature trail, which provides an opportunity for visitors to learn more about local ecology on their own time. The community can become more involved with ICNL through the ICNL Volunteer Stewards Program, where volunteers "adopt" a stretch of trail to care for, and have the opportunity to participate in group hikes and outdoor workshops - e-mail with inquiries.
