Welcome to The Bistro at La Tourelle and thank you for joining us today. I’d like to share a little bit about myself and I hope you enjoy your experience with us! My interest in cooking began at a young age under the guidance of my single mother. She always found time to make amazing meals and letting me help prepare them. From there my 4 years of service in the U.S. Navy allowed me to be exposed to worldwide culinary delights and my passion for cooking grew exponentially. I was very drawn to the fresh local ingredients that many European countries used in their meals. After the Navy I took classes at the Culinary Institute and worked at Cornell University as Executive Chef for 15 years. Combining my lifetime of experience I am proud to hold several medals from the American Culinary Federation. Last but not least, I am excited to be here at La Tourelle to continue a tradition of providing fresh, locally sourced meals every day.
