Celebrate Valentine's Day with Local Food & Fun


February 10th: Cider, Wine, and Chocolate Valentine's Dinner at the Finger Lakes Cider HouseThis all-out fancy dinner is a can't miss event for foodies. Enjoy a delicious four-course local dinner featuring farms from throughout the Finger Lakes as well as local wines and ciders as pairings. Enjoy locally-made chocolates as well, and take home several unique gifts. Tickets required, more information here:

February 10th: The 20th Annual Downtown Ithaca Chili Cook-offIt's an Ithaca tradition! Over 40 restaurants will participate and compete for titles like "best vegetarian chili," "best overall chili," and "people's choice chili." Enjoy other samples from wineries, cideries, and restaurants all in the Ithaca Commons. And you can do some shopping while you're at it! 

February 10th: The Trumansburg "Treat Yourself" TrailExplore quaint small-town Trumansburg and enjoy discounts at a variety of local businesses including How Sweet It Is (homemade ice cream and baked goods), Fresh (organic salon), Gothic Eves (b&b and spa with locally-sourced treatments), Luna Fiber Studio (fiber classes) and so much more! Treat your Valentine (or just yourself!) with a day of self-care.

February 14th: "Love and Vices" at Felicia'sFelecia's will be OPEN on Valentine's Day for drinks and baked goods. Swing by for a locally-brewed beer and a cupcake, or pick up a few treats to take home.

February 14th: Valentine's Day Specials at Coltivare RestaurantMake reservations at Coltivare on Valentine's day and get the chance to try one of their specials for the holiday including a luxurious surf & turf. Coltivare is a farm-to-table bistro and part of the Tompkins Cortland Community College culinary training program.

February 14th: "A Cheesy Valentine" with Lively Run DairyFondue and cheese-tastings at Hope's Events and Catering, plus browse some cheesy gifts to take home. Featuring cheese from Lively Run goat dairy:

February 9th-14th: Valentines Day on the Cayuga Wine TrailCalling all local wine-lovers! The Cayuga wine trail has several wine-related events for Valentine's Day, so be sure to check their site for tastings, dinners, and more:

February 17th: "Passionate Pairings" at Life's So Sweet Chocolates: Celebrate Life's So Sweet Chocolate's 10th anniversary in business with a big party and a whole lot of chocolate. Other locally-sourced goodies will be available for sampling including cheese from Lively run and charcuterie from The Piggery (Ithaca's farm-to-table butcher shop).
