Black Diamond Farm & Cider

Black Diamond Cider is a family-owned orchard in Trumansburg, NY. Started in 2014 and owned by Jackie and Ian Merwin, we run it with the help of their daughter Erica Merwin. Our farm produces all the fruit that goes into our ciders and our orchards contain over 100 varieties of apples and pears- many of them rare heirloom and European varieties selected especially for their cider-making qualities. Walk and taste through one of the oldest Finger Lakes cider orchards and learn how we make our cider. Taste cider in our “Cider Shack” and experience the complexity and diversity of orchard-based ciders. Our tasting room is open for cider by the glass, guided tastings, growler fills, and flights. Hours: Saturday & Sunday 12pm – 6pm Thursday & Friday by appointment. Appointments always required for tours (book on our website)
