Ithaca's Craft Cider Region
You may know the Finger Lakes as a wine region, but there's a world renowned heritage cider region surrounding Ithaca.

Wineries on Cayuga Lake

The Finger Lakes Region has been voted the best wine region in the United States. Plan your trip and discover it for yourself!

Sip and sample your new favorite wines along the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail.

Wine Region of the East

Come see for yourself why the Finger Lakes is considered to be the Wine Region of the East as you hop around to over 25 unique wineries on Cayuga Lake. Wine tours depart from various locations throughout Ithaca. You won't want to miss any of the Finger Lakes wineries and tasting rooms along the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, the oldest and longest running wine trail in America!

Please check the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail's dedicated page for winery service updates in response to COVID-19. When planning your visit, know all tasting rooms and bars now require guests to be seated and purchase a food item when consuming alcohol per New York state directive.

Most of our wineries are also kid- and dog-friendly, too! The kids can quench their thirst with some yummy grape juice and there is plenty of water around for your four-legged furry pal. Please always keep an eye on your tiny humans and pets when at the wineries—there is a lot of glass around. Be sure to contact the winery you plan to visit directly ahead to ensure that they allow children and pets.

And don't forget, we have some incredible cideries to visit as well! Sample ciders made from locally sourced apples, grapes, and other fruits and find your new favorite today!
